The island of Ibiza in the Mediterranean Sea is famous for its exciting nightlife, as a spectacular holiday destination and the curious fact that no one, not even the authorities, knows how many people actually live there. That aside, Ibiza is a premier Summer holiday destination for tourists from all over the world and large parts of the island are registered as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. That's the 'about'...
The island of Ibiza is also the home of Namibian artist and designer, Zsa-Zsa Maasdorp, and her fantastic range of uniquely ethnic leisure wear, Ethnic Zsa-Zsa: The Zennith Project.
Zsa-Zsa moved to Spain for love, a few years ago. We lost touch, reconnected on Facebook and great was my pleasure to see this Namibian beauty is now the proud mother of a beautiful boy, an artist and designer.
I absolutely LOVE Zsa-Zsa's style! Sensual, quirky and sensitive, Ethnic Zsa-Zsa is a reflection of the fine hand of the artist behind it, and a handmade label to wear this coming summer in Swakopmund, to the envy of everyone else! What makes her range of leisure wear so unique? The range is handmade and each item of clothing is individually decorated by Zsa-Zsa.
You can view selected items on Facebook: Ethnic Zsa-Zsa: The Zennith Project, or contact Zsa-Zsa Maasdorp via e-mail on orphans2artist@yahoo.com, to order items from her range. Don't miss out on this one, it's going to be huge!
Besides a dialect of Catalan (Spanish), she still speaks her native tongue, Afrikaans. I also hope, in the not too distant future, we'll see a boutique in one of our coastal malls, perhaps? Wishful thinking...not.
